Søren Arildsen

Søren Arildsen (b. 1996) is a multidisciplinary artist and illustrator currently studying for his BFA at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. He has collaborated with Ukendt Kunstner among others to create some of his art pieces. Arildsen mostly with painting, drawing and ceramics, Arildsen tends to favour a figurative visual language to explore ideas of digital distortion and how glitch aesthetics can be used to defamiliarize our sense of environment and expected behaviour. His motifs are colourful and his subjects are often placed in surroundings with elements that do not directly interact, but are nonetheless inherently interlaced.
